Round Ball Australia Clipper
Last updated: 4 October 2026

Round Ball Australia Clipper (“the app”) is an internal publishing tool operated by Round Ball Australia, an Australian football podcast. It is used only by the Round Ball Australia team to publish Round Ball Australia’s own short videos to Round Ball Australia’s own social media accounts, and to read how those videos perform. It is not offered to the public, and no one outside the Round Ball Australia team can sign in to it.

What information the app accesses

When the Round Ball Australia team connects one of its own accounts (TikTok, Instagram or Facebook), the app receives access only to that account, and only with the permissions the team approves at sign-in. Through that access the app:

  • reads basic account information, such as the account’s ID and username, to confirm which account it is posting to;
  • uploads and publishes videos and captions that Round Ball Australia created, or places them in the account’s drafts; and
  • reads performance figures for Round Ball Australia’s own posts, such as views, reach and engagement counts.

The app does not collect personal information about viewers, followers or any other platform users, and it does not read private messages.

How the information is used

The information is used only to publish Round Ball Australia’s content at the times the team chooses, and to measure how that content performs so the team can make better videos.

Storage and security

Access tokens issued by TikTok, Meta and other platforms are stored securely, readable only by the Round Ball Australia account that runs the app, and are never published or shared. Performance figures are stored with Round Ball Australia’s own records. Where the app runs on a cloud service to publish at scheduled times, tokens are held there as encrypted secrets.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share information obtained through the app with anyone. Content is sent only to the platform account it is being published to.

Retention and deletion

Access tokens are kept only while an account is connected. The Round Ball Australia team can disconnect an account at any time, in the app or in the platform’s own settings (for example, TikTok: Settings and privacy, then Security, then Manage app permissions). Disconnecting stops all access, and the stored tokens are deleted.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
